Social Hub is our upcoming in-app community feature that transforms Torium from a mining tool into a living, breathing social platform — all without leaving the app.

What Is Social Hub?

Social Hub is a real-time chat and community system built natively into the Torium app. Think of it as your crypto community headquarters: a place to chat with fellow miners, coordinate social media campaigns, compete for prizes, and earn TOR rewards — all in one place.

Unlike external platforms like Discord or Telegram, Social Hub lives inside Torium itself. That means your mining stats, your level, your badges, and your reputation all travel with you into every conversation.

Chat Rooms for Every Language and Every Topic

Social Hub launches with 16 language-specific rooms — one for every language Torium supports — plus a Global Chat where the entire community comes together regardless of language.

On top of that, there are dedicated topic rooms:

• Announcements — Official updates from the Torium team
• Raid Room — Coordinated social media campaigns (more on this below)
• Meme Arena — Weekly meme contests with TOR prizes
• Suggestions — Share your ideas for improving Torium
• Help — Get answers from experienced community members

When you first open Social Hub, you'll be automatically placed in your language room based on your device settings. But you're free to explore any room you like — and you'll even earn rewards for doing so.

Raids: Earn TOR by Supporting Torium on Social Media

One of the most exciting features of Social Hub is the Raid System. Raids are coordinated social media campaigns where the community comes together to amplify Torium's presence online.

Here's how it works:

1. The Torium team launches a raid with a specific goal (like retweeting a post or leaving an app review)
2. You get a push notification and see the raid in the Raid Room
3. Complete the action, tap "I Did It," and submit your proof
4. Earn TOR rewards once verified

Raids have time limits, participant caps, and a live progress bar so you can see the community hitting targets in real time. Top raiders will earn special badges and climb the Raid Leaderboard.

Gamification: Levels, XP, Badges & Leaderboards

Everything you do in Social Hub earns you XP (Experience Points). Send messages, get reactions, join raids, participate in contests — it all counts toward your level.

The leveling system goes from Level 1 (Newcomer) all the way to Level 10 (OG), with each level unlocking new perks:

• Level 3+ — Access to exclusive emoji reactions
• Level 5+ — Custom name color and badge next to your username
• Level 7+ — Eligibility to become a Community Moderator
• Level 10 — The legendary "OG" badge with a special profile effect

There's also a collection of 12+ badges to earn, from "First Message" to "Diamond Hands" (30 consecutive days of activity) to "Meme Lord" (winning a meme contest).

Leaderboards track the most active chatters, top raiders, longest streaks, and highest levels — with weekly and monthly TOR prizes for the top performers.

Meme Contests: Show Off Your Creativity

Every week, the Meme Arena hosts a themed meme contest. The Torium team picks a theme, you submit your best meme (GIF or text), and the community votes on their favorites.

Winners take home a TOR prize pool and the coveted "Meme Lord" badge. It's a fun, low-stakes way to engage with the community and show off your creativity.

Tip Your Favorite Community Members

See a great message? A helpful answer? A hilarious meme? You can tip other users directly with TOR — right from the chat. Choose from preset amounts (1, 5, 10, or 25 TOR), and the transaction happens instantly.

It's a simple but powerful way to reward the people who make the community great.

Daily Tasks Integration

Social Hub integrates directly with Torium's existing Daily Tasks system. New daily and weekly challenges will reward you for being an active community member:

• Send 5 messages in Social Hub — 10 TOR
• React to a message — 5 TOR
• Reply to someone — 5 TOR
• Join a raid — 20 TOR
• Visit a different language room — 5 TOR
• Be active 7 days in a row — 50 TOR weekly bonus

Built for Safety: Moderation from Day One

We're building Social Hub with safety as a priority. The moderation system includes:

• Auto-spam detection — Repeated messages and bot-like behavior are automatically flagged
• Rate limiting — New accounts have restricted messaging for the first 24 hours
• Community reporting — Long-press any message to report it for spam, harassment, or scam content
• Tiered moderation — From admin-level controls to community moderators elected from Level 7+ users
• Link filtering — External links are automatically reviewed to prevent scam URLs

Rollout Plan: Four Phases

Social Hub will roll out in four phases to ensure stability and quality:

1. Phase 1 — Core Chat: Room list, language rooms, global chat, basic messaging, announcements, and moderation tools
2. Phase 2 — Engagement: Emoji reactions, GIF support, XP/leveling system, leaderboards, daily tasks, and online status
3. Phase 3 — Growth: Raid system, Proof of Shill integration, push notifications, badges, and tipping
4. Phase 4 — Community: Meme Arena contests, Help & Suggestions rooms, community moderators, and advanced anti-spam
